And in these 10 days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we are to look at ourselves and see what God sees and see those areas that we need to change.

And this is not scriptural necessarily, that God didn't say there are 10 days in between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and this is what you've got to do.

I had to become a believer to understand that this is part of what I a way to celebrate this time period and I love it because it's also seen as the 10 days of repentance and I won't go into it right now because of time but last week God spoke to me in a very strong way and he showed me some things that as I was being critical of somebody else He pointed out, and I wasn't necessarily wrong in that, but what he was doing was he was using that to point out some things in me that had to change.

Now, some people might really get upset that God is pointing out your weaknesses, your failures.

But as soon as you find out what they are, You have this amazing opportunity to join with God and ask him to give you the strength to overcome those things and to change lifelong habits that you just rationalized and thought were reasonable and common sense.
