“A Heart for Giving: Step 5” - Rabbi Steve Weiler (08/22/2026)

You know, I started this series talking about how to receive Yeshua as your Messiah.

And then step one, of course, is everybody says it, but it's hard.

Trust God and his word.

Step two is to be obedient.

Step three, a heart for God.

Step four, a heart for prayer.

Today, a heart for giving.

You know, I am going to talk about finances today, but we all realize that giving is really three parts.

There's the giving of our time.

There's the giving of our talents.

And there's the giving of finances.

God is the originator of giving.

I'm just so focused on all the things that God has given us.

And we see in John 3.16, everybody knows, everybody's heard that scripture over and over and over again.

For God so loved the world, But I want you to stop on the next couple words, that he gave.

That he gave.

So Lisa was talking about, you know, rather than just liking, that we should love everybody.

Loving requires giving.

And if we can't give, we're not loving.

And if we can't give, we don't have a heart for God.

If we can't give, we're not being obedient.

And if we can't give, we're not trusting God.

So, This is one of the things, and, you know, people want to argue about things.

You know, they find something to argue about.

And so the question is, oh, last night? My goodness.
