Tyson Nash - Hockey, Heart & a hell of a ride!

Yeah, that was a great team.

And I mean, Doug Waite was there.

Stefan Richer was there.

I mean, Big Walt, you got to play with Big Walt, right?

Oh, yeah, it was epic.

And those teams were probably some of the best teams to never win.

And we just, for whatever reason, we didn't have goaltending.

Marty Turek was one of the best goalies.

I think he won the Vezina that

year.

And we were out in the first round.

We won the President's Trophy.

We ran the table.

No one could touch us.

And we lost in seven games to the San Jose Sharks in our own building, losing game seven.

And Turek couldn't stop a beach ball.

I had Grant Fuhrer at the end of his career, which was so super cool watching that guy.

just show up every day at his age.

I think he played like 79 games one year.

Like it's insanity, right? Then we had Chris Osgood even.

And for whatever reason, he couldn't play with us.

He couldn't do his thing that he did in Detroit for all those years.

What's he got, like four or five cups? Well, he couldn't get it done in St.

Louis.

And I think goaltending was a big part of it.
