You know, big news this week was, or last week, that Peyton Krebs signed a four-year, 4.5 average a year contract with the Sabres.

He was skating at 23.28 miles per hour and in the 90th percentile for 20 to 22 mile an hour speed bursts.

The Sabres have outscored opponents 35-22 in their regular season with Krebs and Thompson deployed.

Krebs also leads the team with 243 games played of a possible 246 over the last three seasons.

And he was one of only seven players league-wide with a 35-plus points and a 200-plus hits.

That's pretty amazing for a guy that, you know... was a throw in trade, I guess, in the, uh, tuck trade for Eichel.
