And so, you know, this, this title is, is very intriguing, "Help! I'm Fighting Against Impure Desires." And someone may look at it and say- Impure desires, what does that mean? And they're looking at me, "What does that mean?" So can you kinda define what you mean by impure desires?

We discussed the topic or the title of the book, because I wanted to be, um, clear, but also, um, just careful.

so the title really is coming from the idea th- this book is written primarily to girls who are fighting what we might call-- When we say private sexual sin, what I mean by that is pornography, masturbation, um, sexual fantasy, and, and the many variations of that.

So we do wanna talk, and the Bible talks about sexual sin in relationship to other people, you know, our, um, relational sexuality, but we also have our private lives.

And, um, so this mini book is really written to girls because there's a lot out there written to guys, and maybe, I think in recent years, we are [lip smack] recognizing that this is not just a male problem.

Um, and so this is written to women, but it is really specifically about...

You know, when I say impure desires, we all have sexual desires, and God made us sexual beings, so it's not inherently wrong to have sexual desires.

But when does that become sinful? When does it turn into lust? Or when do I in-- you know, I actually fulfill those desires outside of God's intended plan? That's why we called it "Fighting Against Impure Desires." They-- There's one mini book called "I Wanna Be Pure," and that's kind of trying to focus on those who maybe are, are already in the battle for purity and are trying to stay pure.

This mini book is a little bit more focused, although hopefully it would be beneficial to any girl.

But really to say, what about girls who are already recognizing, "I'm already thinking in patterns that are sinful," or, "I'm already engaged in pornography," or, you know, "I masturbate every night before bed," and basically trying to help them specifically.
