Today, I'm speaking with Katrijn, who talks about how she discovered that sailing was her passion, from competent crew to becoming a yacht master instructor.

It was, uh, a voice, a voice inside.

It was a feeling.

It was nothing rational.

I remember I must have been a child of 10 years, a, a real child, and I was, uh, in Nieuwpoort at the North Sea, and I saw a little sailing boat at the horizon.

And I thought, "Oh God, that's unreachable for me." So long ago, I buried the dream of sailing, and by doing that competent crew course, I think something awakened and I couldn't stop it anymore.
