And speaking of telling people stuff they already know while they dig in their heels and insist that the rules don't apply to them, let's get into some Trump talk.
He was originally charged with vandalism in the whole reflecting pool debacle.
Trump called it a case of felony vandalism, which could carry a sentence of 10 years in prison.
Now, the charges are being dropped by Jeanine Pirro, and Trump is pissed, all because another one of his people is not doing his bidding.
It doesn't matter if the evidence isn't there.
He wants you to do exactly what he says or suffer the consequences.
And does anyone else find the irony in this whole situation absolutely extraordinary? You have someone who barely touched the reflecting pool liner, the liner that was already peeling off, and he is being threatened with 10 years in prison.
Yet the people who stormed the Capitol on January 6th chanted, "Hang Mike Pence," assaulted police officers, vandalized the Capitol Building, including defecating in hallways and offices and smearing it on walls.

One person who should be thinking about all this but probably isn't is Mitch McConnell.
We are now past the deadline needed to get a special election going for his replacement.
So even if it were now reported that he was dead or in a coma or whatever the hell is going on, we would have to wait for the November election.
At least he wasn't running for re-election anyways.

But being in the privileged class, he doesn't have to worry about that like the rest of us do.
And he shows that every time he votes.
I urge you all, when you vote this November, to think about your life without the privileges you have.
Imagine you are the person working the fast food counter or cleaning your hotel rooms.
The people who make minimum wage, likely without health benefits, barely able to make rent, so saving for a rainy day is not possible.
Please think of them the next time you vote.
Because I guarantee you, you are, and always will be, closer to their situation than you will ever be to Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk.
