Episode 4 of Season 2. Some more politics, cause hey, it's 2026! Some midlife crisis talk and TV/movie reviews. Then I dig into the crazy and LONG case of Randy Kraft! Sources…
Alright, let's rip off the band-aid and start with the heavy stuff.
So last week I mentioned in my opener about the recent ice shootings, but then didn't actually go into them.
A couple reasons why.
First, the opener was already getting on the long side, and I tried to keep these episodes under 30 minutes.
The case I'm getting into today is a long one, so we'll see about that.
Second, the news was still pretty new, and I always hesitate to start throwing out accusations or theories before we really know what happened.
When I was young, I was constantly hearing people say things like, well, what did they expect would happen going out there and protesting or getting in people's faces or dressed like that? All those types of things.
As if someone living their life in a way you don't agree with is punishable by death.
As if a woman wearing a revealing top or miniskirt is asking to be assaulted.
So, with these two recent shootings, I was reluctant to talk about them before knowing more details.
Like many of the other shootings, the Trump administration was quick to throw out their own accusations.
They accused Johann Sebastian Duran Guerrero of trying to use his car as a weapon.
Sounds familiar to so many other killings, including Rene Good.
Also, the man that shot him? He apparently has a history of mental health issues, domestic violence, and racist beliefs.
Like with Johan, Lorenzo was not the intended target.
Apparently, they had tried to do a traffic stop, and supposedly he tried to flee.
He was shot in the abdomen through the passenger side window.
Last I checked, fleeing a traffic stop was not punishable by death.
And here's an idea, shoot out the tires instead of the driver.
They have shown that they are willing to shoot and kill someone and find an excuse later.
ICE has terrified people in these communities to the point where their instincts take over and all this administration does is lie and say they deserved it because they didn't just roll over and take it.
