Fuel prices keep going up as the war that's supposedly not a war, but maybe a war, depending on how you define a war, keeps going on in Iran.
He's added on tariffs to Canada, even though the courts have told him repeatedly that he can't do that.
Am I fucking dreaming? Because this does not feel real.
This feels like one of those dystopian movies where just everything is wrong.
Now the Interior Secretary Doug Burgum has said that excavation for Trump's arch could start within the next two weeks.
This is all without approvals from the National Capital Planning Commission, nor the FAA.
I am so frustrated at how this man only seems to care about his vanity projects.
His ballroom that was only supposed to come up to the east wing, then suddenly the east wing is gone.
Then he wanted to remodel the center and add his name to the side saying he got it done.
Now an arch.
He will not be satisfied until he has left a lasting mark on DC.
Maybe this is just my heavily biased opinion, but shouldn't a president do their best work running the country, and then once they are out of office, if the country feels like they did a good enough job to warrant a monument, then the country makes it happen.
Not a president trying to stamp his name on every corner of the city like a fucking dog pissing on every fire hydrant and tree he comes across.
and I'm frustrated that my tax dollars are going to fund this stupid war and all of his vanity projects.
Not to mention that I am convinced this man will go down in history as one of, if not the worst president we have ever had.
The embarrassment of having his structures all over our capital will be too much.
I want to say that the next president should just tear them down.
Rebuild whatever was there before.
But I know that's also a colossal waste of money.
I'd love for them to never be built.
But if they are, maybe name them something that he would loathe.
