A little politics talk and a mental health update. I've been having a tough time lately but still fighting. Then I dive into the John Wayne Gacy case. OMG, these big cases are gonna do me in. It's…
Speaking of not well-adjusted, as of recording, the jurors in the Lindsay Clancy trial still haven't come to a verdict.
In case you don't know what it's about, Lindsay Clancy was the mother to three children, They were aged five years, three years, and eight months old when their mother, Lindsay, strangled them to death before attempting suicide by jumping from a second-floor window.
For longtime listeners, you know how I've struggled with my mental health over the years.
Depression and suicidal ideation were my traveling companions.
Even with years of therapy, they are still right there, just waiting in the wings for me to welcome them back on stage.
I can't imagine battling those demons while also having three young children depending on you.
But to take their lives? That's the part I don't understand.
Then again, it's hard to know what was going through her head at the time.

But one thing I've learned through therapy is try and look at things from the other side.
General consensus has said that Iran did not have nuclear weapons and wasn't trying to make any.
I'm just saying that my understanding is that the basis for the war we are in to keep Iran from having nuclear weapons is bullshit.
Now, imagine you're on the other side.
Your political administration is pretty shit, your economy is suffering, but you are doing the best you can.
Now another country has come in and bombed you guys for months.
They've hit a children's school.
Then you're going to a wedding and are injured when a bomb is dropped on it.
How would we feel if another country was doing that to us? I'm absolutely appalled at what my country is capable of.
The amount of innocent lives that have been sacrificed so far, and all in order to prevent something that probably wasn't going to happen.
