The Murder of PC Stephen Oake

Seeing Red returns for Season 16 with the shocking murder of Detective Constable Stephen Oake, a Greater Manchester Police officer killed in the line of duty. On 14 January 2003, 40-year-old Stephen Oake joined fellow officers on a raid at a flat in Crumpsall, Manchester. What should have been a carefully controlled police operation descended into violence when they encountered Kamel Bourgass, a man linked to a major terrorism investigation.
