David, just catching up on World Cup energy here, which has been pretty awesome to see downtown, I got to say.

From this man's perspective, I've really dug what I've been seeing down there.

I thought the first big test was USA versus Australia last Friday.

Pioneer Square was packed to the gills.

It seemed like Seattle weathered it fairly well.

The reports I saw, four arrests total, not too many people getting out of line, two for trespassing, two for unauthorized use of drones.

What was your take on how it all went down last week?

Yeah, I got to, you know, was cruising around town both before both matches.

I went to the watch party on the pier near the overlook walk for the USA one because I was in town.

So I just stopped by and I didn't see every corner of the city, of course, but I just thought the energy was on a level I haven't seen before.

And that, you know, I've been to Mariners playoff games.

Of course, there was the Super Bowl All-Star game.

I just thought this was at a different level.

And And I think it's because it felt like it was about more than just who was going to the stadium.

There really was a whole city environment.

People got there early and then weren't in a hurry to leave.

The fact, I think, that there were other matches after the USA game.

So people kind of hung around and kept watching.

And I'll admit to being a little bit of a cynic about all the lead up to the World Cup.

And it's totally exceeded all of my expectations.

I think the city has looked great.

I think the energy has been wonderful.

And I think it's been a really good event for the city.
