Big Tech's Civil War

It's not just Teal with weird ideologies, right? He's just one very, very good example of this expanding.

But the tech community, they have strange cultish ideas, which we've already sort of touched on many times.

Timnit Gerbu, who's a computer scientist, formerly of, I want to say Google, but maybe she was an anthropic.

Anyway, she coined this neologism called TESCREAL, which stands for transhumanism.

I don't know what all these things are, so I'm just trying to read them.

Extropanism and singularism.

It's transhumanism, extropianism, singulitarianism, cosmism, rationalism, effective altruism, and long-termism.

What is this stuff? Well, that acronym was coined by Dr.

Timney Gabriel and by Dr. Emil Torres.

And it describes this bundle of beliefs that have become very popular in Silicon Valley.

Basically, the idea that we're going to become transhuman.

We're going to merge with machines and AI.

We're going to live forever or at least a very, very, very long time because we're going to merge with AI.

AI is going to overtake us and become this godlike force.

And we're going to travel throughout the stars, cosmism.

And we're going to make decisions based on the trillions and trillions of people yet unborn who will be our eugenic spawn throughout the universe and outer space as we become robots that travel to other galaxies, harvesting the energy of other stars in order to replicate ourselves, ultimately colonizing the entire universe.

We go out to the farthest reaches of some of this weird space.
