So tell us a little bit about your story.

Oh, yes.

As you said, we're from South Dakota.

Marie was in banking.

And I have 25 plus years experience restaurant and I've done it all.

But had you on a barbecue type restaurant? No, we have not ever

owned.

Nope, never not own any barbecue restaurant or any restaurant at all.

I've worked in a few barbecue places up north, but northern barbecue is nothing like southern barbecue.

So it has a different

taste,

huh? Yep, it has a different taste, different flair.

So

you have to concoct your own kind of sauces and things like that to satisfy the taste down in Webster? No,

actually, when we moved down here, that was a journey in itself for that.

We just took over our Hurons.

restaurant and they've had they've been around for 20 some years so it was an

ongoing business

yes and they really was and they had the recipes all down pack all we had to do was learn it

so it was a matter of the learning experience but there must have been a scary thing for you because you were moving down here you and your wife marie were moving down here from a far away place

Yes, for me, since I had no family down here, other than my in-laws, it is completely crazy and outside my realm of comfort.
