All right, man, the first term is shoot, and, and I'm not talking about shoot with a gun like I'm a gangster.

I'm talking about shoot as in a real fight.

If it's a shoot, it's the truth or it's real.

Amateur wrestlers are also called shooters because they're doing it for real.

The second term is over, and that means, uh, you're popular.

The fans like you, the boss likes you, maybe the girls like you.

Well, sometimes maybe not.

But over is being popular, that, that they want to see you.

They'll pay to see you.

Maybe you have high merchandise sales.

Okay, the next term is pop, and I'm not talking Road Warrior pop.

That's a different pop.

But n- It's a more explosive pop.

Pop is when the fans cheer or ex- You do a move and you get the reaction you want, it's a pop.

Heat.

Now that's a term I'm very familiar with.

I had that mostly in the back, though, with, uh, most of my career.

Heat is when the fans don't like you, they're really on you.

During a match when y- the good guy's getting beat up, that's called the heat.

Push is the next term, and that means that the boss has decided to give you plenty of TV time to try to get you over with the fans, you know? And they're gonna push you.

They're gonna make you win all the time.

Buried is the next term, and that means when the boss doesn't like you, basically, and he's gonna do everything he can to make you look like shit out there.

You're gonna lose.

You're gonna be put in dumb angles, like carry a mop around like you're some fucking moron.
