Sep 27, 2026 · 15 min · 8 segments
You can love your family and still be empty inside the life you built. Sarah shares how she followed every rule: the marriage, the kids, the house, the job. Then she spent years on healers…
I think that the majority of us, if you're honest with yourself, you will admit that there's something inside of you that believes there is a time in the future where there will be zero pressure, and you'll be at 100% peace.
We're sold that lie, that it's coming, and you've probably been thinking that for decades.
If I just keep doing what I'm doing, or if I just throw money at it, I'm okay with spending more money, throwing money at things that never touch the real problem inside of me.
So you'll go on a retreat, and you'll get therapy, and you'll take medication, and you'll take a manifestation class.
You're fine with doing those things, but they're not touching the real problem because we built these lives based on the rules.
There's a system in place, and we have to stay within that system because if you don't, people are gonna look at you like you're crazy.
You're supposed to go to school, you graduate, you get a job, you meet someone because you have to find your other half, your only half.
You may go to school and get a job, but you're always looking for someone because you're incomplete until you find that person.
You get a dog, house, kids, go on vacations, and most of us are doing exactly that, and we're sitting here empty.
That doesn't mean you're not throwing money at things to try to surface level feel better, get through the life you're tolerating.
