Can Rutgers Upset Indiana?/Rutgers Scarlet Knights LIVE 115

Now, I wasn't on the postgame show when we beat Howard, so I want to rewind just for a moment and talk about how damn optimistic you guys were after beating Howard.

Now, Adam was talking after our Howard victory like we just beat Indiana.

I don't think we can take too much away from the game, honestly.

I'm going to take the angle Adam usually takes after and say, we just did what we were supposed to do.

I think we got to switch our tones a little bit.

Now, is it good that we finally won a game? Of course.

Is it good that we won a game convincingly? Of course.

But we didn't really show any reason to be optimistic or pessimistic.

All we did was handle business.

So am I wrong?

No, and Gabe, that was my sentiment the entire post-game show.

I don't know how I got roped into this, but I do agree with your point and just how when I was talking about it on Friday, it was more of it's crazy that we got to this point.

Yes.

To start off the season, we thought Rutgers having a 4.5 win line sounded egregious because the first two games sounded like Rutgers had a better chance of winning.

And then Howard was going to be that third game.

So by this moment in time, I thought we was going to be originally – I thought Rutgers was going to be originally 4-0 because I had them upsetting USC.

But at least Rutgers would be 3-1 heading into now conference play.

This right now does seem very terrifying per se, but there were some bright spots.

My personal perspective is that maybe a win, just a dominating win like Howard was, can help build momentum and make guys remember who they are to head into Indiana.

Yeah, from a tone standpoint, I think it was necessary.

And, yeah, for the record, I was calling out Adam more.
