So looking back to the week that was, my week commencing the 15th of June where I've been training, building up, obviously for the Spitfire Scramble and for Sydney.

And it's all starting to feel pretty, pretty real to be honest because I'd said in our last episode that okay I've got a little bit of a sort of tapering coming.

I think I was maybe jumping the gun a little bit because I've been speaking to my coach this past week and actually that's not the case because we had a bit of a deload week last week and then this week coming up it's it's getting pretty heavy again okay so yeah not quite not quite the taper that i was thinking i was gonna get um but we might get a little bit more in the next couple of weeks but this week is looking heavy the one to come so we've got like a 2 out of 15 run on on saturday and Some meaty sessions in there, some intervals, some hills, lots going on.

So I covered like 86 kilometers, just over 86 kilometers last week, which is like 53 miles.

So it's about seven hours, 18 minutes, apparently, according to my plan of running.

That's like running for six out of seven days and twice on Monday and Wednesday, obviously.

so for me what that looked like was on monday i had a double day 60 minutes easy in the morning and 30 minutes easy in the evening plus i did some strength and conditioning that day last week so just over 17 kilometers on the legs all look pretty comfortable heart rate sitting in there sort of low low 130s and just a nice solid controlled start to the week it's tuesday i was out of the belgrade harriers we were doing like 310 to 315 per k's um for like a kilometer rep then having like a minute break then doing 400 meters slightly faster like three to three ten pace um and then having like a two minute break in between so these were a lot harder obviously they're like 165 175 in the heart rate also it's pretty warm it's it's heating up as you probably know It felt good, it felt sharp, and those sessions are starting to feel really good, so that's really good to see.

I was doing the strength and conditioning as well that day, so I'd moved it a little bit earlier last week just because I was at a gig and stuff on Friday, and so I needed to move things around.

Obviously that hour in the morning and then 30 in the evening as well as that sort of heavier strength training session.

So I had to get some hill training because obviously I've got this relay coming up.

So there were basically like 10 lots of 75 seconds uphill with like a jog back down.

So we built up a fair bit of climbing and it was good to be able to do that to be honest.
