I am making sure I'm doing those strength sessions, even though they're not my favorite.

Now, probably one of the most sort of pleasing or successful runs I did was about 17.9k that I did on, I think it was Thursday I did that one.

So I had about a half an hour run beforehand sort of warming up, maybe just a bit less than that.

And then I did... three lots of 10 minute intervals of like tempo runs um so tempo is kind of like your zone three to zone four like leaning into that kind of marathon pace um maybe a little bit faster as well for this sort of tempo run and so yeah it's not an easy run and certainly not for 10 minutes like it doesn't feel that long i run a lot more than that a lot longer than that but um when you're training and you're you're putting yourself into it like more intense scenarios like that where you're going at a certain speed and a certain pace and all of the things that you need to do, it can become quite hard, actually, 10 minutes.

So, yeah, so it's three lots of 10 minutes with, like, I think it was about 90 seconds recovery from there after sort of each one and then get back at it and then another sort of half hour sort of cool-down run.

yeah it wasn't an easy run but it really really paid off and not only that but i also did a session with the harriers so i trained with the belgium harriers so we trained on tuesday and i was actually on the track and i've touched on it a little bit before i've done such a low amount of track work like most my running is out on the road um which is you know some of my favorite running really but i actually do enjoy mixing it up as well sometimes and i've really enjoyed being on the track it actually feels great to be out there and sort of running with a group as well like i said i run with harris and They're not easy sessions.

Those guys are fast, you know, they are strong, strong runners, and I really have to up my game to keep up with them and make sure I'm out there.

So don't get me wrong, sometimes when I'm heading towards those sessions on a Tuesday, I'm like, oh, do I want to do this? Do I want to just go train on my own? Whatever.

But I never come away from a session feeling like I sort of wish I hadn't gone, you know? like I always feel like actually that was really really helpful really really useful for me and I take a lot from being challenged and sort of making sure that I am pushing myself and so sometimes it's really good and also you get to run with a group you sort of stay together you know and run with them so it's actually really really helpful and I've been enjoying that Not only that, most days I've been sort of averaging around about 17 to 18k, other than maybe like Friday.

But yeah, most days I'm getting in those because I do double runs on Monday and Wednesday and then Tuesday and Thursday, sort of those more heavy interval sessions.

I really love that kind of run because it's just two hours easy running down the South Bank.

Admittedly, I probably should have got up a bit earlier that morning because it was so packed and so around.

One of my favourite things to do is run down the South Bank when it's just completely quiet, like a 5am or 4am run down the South Bank.
