Um, Summer Streets is a really big deal here, which I feel like you would love.
So essentially they cl- they close down all of Second Ave, I believe it's Second Ave.
But from right to the very top of Manhattan, all the way down to the south of the island, and it's just open to runners and cyclists.
There's DJs, there's people with, like, bubble blowers, there's, um, live music, there's run groups, and it's just an absolute stampede of movement from 7:00 AM all the way until sort of 4:00 PM, um, on the weekends.
And just things like that, um, the events that they do here around the summer activation.
So they do these massive yoga activations in Downtown in the park, where there's sort of 400 people on mats and they've got someone micd up to the nines out the front.
And everyone's just sort of flowing, and they've got music, and they've got their little, um, aperols afterwards.
Um, I like the way that they really encourage you to get out and about and do, because it's not a place where you kind of nest and lounge at home.
Um, like as it is right now, I don't really have a place to sit, so I'm on my Pilates mat, um, which I've padded up with my sleeping pillow.
Well, this, this isn't everyone's circumstance, but I feel like it's very much like you don't just, like, hang out in your home.
