Save 49 cents.
Making this show is the closest that I can get to knowing what it's like to be someone else.
But I keep wondering what it would sound like if I could take me out of it, if I, if I wasn't hol- standing there holding a mic and asking a lot of questions.
So for the last year or so, I've been asking my friend K to record voice memos on her phone and send them to me, and listening to this tape has been weirdly thrilling because, A, I wasn't there when it was recorded, but also it's like looking at a whole life but through a keyhole.
K waiting for takeout, K crushing boxes out behind the co-op, um, riding the bus.
