I have also had to pull myself away from The hot new strategy RPG that everybody's playing, 'cause I've been playing Stella Deus finally for the PS2, the Atlas, uh, RPG that just, uh, saw what Final Fantasy Tactics did and were like, "Okay, we'll do exactly that with no changes." And, uh, it's really good.
I mean, people like Final Fantasy Tactics, so why not do it again with-
Yeah
Yeah.
And it does a thing that's really, really cool.
Like, a lot of games will give you the Final Fantasy X turn order over on the side, but this one, when you end your turn, you get to choose what your next initiative is going to be as long as you, uh, have some left.
'Cause you...
When your turn starts, you're, you're at 100, and then you can spend as much as you want to put, put yourself wherever.
And so you can do things where, like, you purposefully take a really tiny turn and just move forward one or two steps, because then you'll go before the bad guy again and get a whole entire turn to just unload on him and then take a step back sort of thing.
And there's a lot of interesting things.
Like, the reason I'm bad at all the Fire Emblems that I've ever played is because in Final Fantasy Tactics, you run up and you punch the bad guys.
So you let the bad guys come to you, and then you punch the bad guys.
And th- this game, the second fight at the beginning of the game beat that out of me.
Like, you, you can't run up and attack the people because then they'll have a whole, a whole turn to attack you.
And so you have to manage your initiative a lot, uh, better.
And it's very, very cool, very, very interesting, and has very, very good graphics.
Mm-hmm.
As I said, I'm very near the end of Kai's path.
Kai's the 15-year-old kid.
He's just a swell kid.
He's the nicest guy.
