Normally, at this point, now that we have the full spoiler, now that we have time to look over all the cards, at, at this point, I usually have a very good idea about... [lips smack] Like, I have some opinions on the color pairs.
Using that, I've pored over the set enough to really, like, know the set, and I'm using that to inform what I'm gonna talk about.
That is not the case this time, and that is because the, uh, little experiment that I've been teasing for The Hobbit is that I'm going into this set totally blind.
So I have more or less not looked at any Hobbit cards, and I'm not going to until I start drafting the set.
I've told people, "Don't show me any Hobbit cards." I don't wanna look at them until I draft them.
Um, and I'm also planning on avoiding discussion and, more specifically, avoiding checking the Seventeen Lands data for the duration of, I think, basically, a climb to Mythic.
But, um, I'm basically gonna do enough drafts to get t- me to Mythic without looking at any outside information about people's opinions or the data itself.
