And now, turning to our program, while Jody and Tracy join me on the stage, I am honored to introduce our speakers today.

Tracy Dolphin, and yes, that is really her last name, Director of Animal Management and Health at the Milwaukee County Zoo, and Jody Gibson, CEO of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee.

Jody and Tracy are here today to share how our zoo upholds commitments to conservation and animal well-being.

Tracy Dolphin leads the animal care and veterinary teams, bringing more than 20 years of zoo experience, including roles at the San Diego Safari Park, Disney Animal Kingdom, and the Oklahoma City Zoo.

With over 10 years of expertise working with elephants in human care, Tracy has also traveled to Africa to participate in field conservation projects.

It is also a great joy of mine to partner with Tracy on local and global conservation and education efforts.

Jody Gibson has been the CEO of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee for the past decade.

I met her six years ago and learned from her how our zoo not only is an important cultural institution, but is an education and conservation organization with impacts here in Milwaukee and around the globe.

Today, we will hear about elephants, so it is worth highlighting that Jodi led a successful fundraising campaign to transform 25% of our zoo's property into Adventure Africa, where hippos, rhinos, elephants, and other African species live.
