Big Vito Unfiltered

Big Vito doesn’t just tell wrestling stories, he tells them like a guy who lived every mile of the road and still protects the business. We sit down with Vito alongside WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and dig into the moments fans still argue about: the infamous dress gimmick, the reality of “passing the test” in a locker room, and why kayfabe only works when you commit with your whole body and your whole voice. If you care about wrestling psychology, heel work, and how character turns into real crowd control, this one hits fast. We also get into why Vito’s current JCW run has people calling it the best work of his career. He breaks down how he builds heat, how he thinks about promos and facials, and why a veteran’s real job is to elevate everyone around him, not just win segments. From there, the conversation opens up into family history, including the Lucky Luciano connection, plus what Johnny Rodz taught him about toughness, conditioning, and never showing weakness. Then it’s pure locker room gold: ECW memories, working with Rob Van Dam, WCW highlights, a Terry Funk moment Vito says he’ll never forget, and even the “work or shoot” Vegas confrontation that had fans split. We wrap with updates on The Don’s Final Offer, new merch, an upcoming action figure, and a few final thoughts that only come from decades in the ring.
