So I'll be racing alongside a whole bunch of other parents to go and pick up my kids afterwards.
I often do a session like this and people come up to me afterwards and they say, oh, Glenn, I see you've got the gift of the gab.
And so Glenn, well done for doing the speaking thing, but I don't really do the speaking thing.
And it's always a shock because we've usually shared a bit of conversation by that stage, and they've told me all about the weather and the cricket and the grandkids and the holiday that they've been on, and they haven't made any social faux pas, they haven't tripped up in their words.
They've been okay with their words, right? I think we're all okay with our words, actually.
And if my heart is full of the grandkids and the holiday... then my speech will be full of the grandkids and the holiday.
And if my words aren't full of Jesus, well, then I need to go back to the heart thing, don't I? And figure out, why aren't my words coming? Why is there not more of a flow with my words? Well, from the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.
