Special thanks to Chris Peters for helping us preview the 2026 NHL Draft, which is coming up this weekend.

We already have these past couple months really kind of building up, building up, uh, towards the, towards draft and, and towards free agency and of course possible trades this off-season.

We've been doing that ever since the season ended, uh, back in mid-April for the New York Rangers.

Uh, we're gonna have Jess Rubenstein's full first round mock draft for all 32 teams, the first 32 picks of which right now the Rangers have picks numbers five and 26 in the first round.

So, uh, we'll get Jess's, uh, uh, mock draft that we'll be posting at foreverblueshirts.com.

Uh, but we'll also be reposting a lot of our feature stories that we've had on players that the Rangers may select with the number five pick, the options.

We've had, you know, features on Holtby and Carlsson, Smuts, uh, Rudolph, uh, you know, Verhoff.

And then of course we'll have my draft tracker, uh, that will begin on Friday, carry you through the first round Friday night and then through the subsequent rounds and picks on day two on Saturday.

Um, you know, plus we'll have feature stories on what the Rangers do, what they don't do.
