I'm not the current host, Chris Fraser, and in all likelihood, Chris will be coming back to you with another episode of his own very soon.

But I got the call to do something different here, which we haven't done before, which is record an episode in front of a live audience with an artist in residence at the 2026 Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Thank you to the Coastal Jazz and Blue Society and Tom Lee Music for for allowing me to do this, for putting me and an artist on a stage at the Tom Lee Music Hall downtown to have a conversation in front of some people who turned out.

I'm feeling very grateful to everyone at the moment and I can't do justice in words for how fun it's been to be sharing these times with you during this festival.

So without further ado, let's cut to the Tom Lee Music Hall Vancouver right now.
