So yes, my daughter and her husband and who I knew we would also be celebrating are going to be parents themselves.

And which makes me, I feel a little like self-conscious, like saying it out loud here on the podcast, but she has now been sharing publicly and with everyone that they have conceived and she's pregnant and will be having a beautiful baby in the spring of 2027.

So there's all of that, right? But who came, who, something that I wasn't aware of is like, oh, that all these people that are coming on this particular weekend are also on a threshold of new spaces in their lives, right? We had two newly engaged couples, both of which had gotten engaged in the last month, right? my daughter who's newly pregnant, someone celebrating a year of wedding anniversary.

And I've known these women some since my daughter, um, since high school for my daughter, uh, some more recently, but all of whom we've, I have definitely spent time with and, you know, know a fair amount and to some degrees.

So, you know, looking out around the room, everything that just initially, like the conversations that were congratulating each other, um, Everybody, you know, being able to share and hold the baby, you know, talking about baby paraphernalia, talking about baby names, you know, someone needing something.

But I didn't have this, like, really tight group of friends that just, you know, got to kind of sit around and be together in the midst of all of this, all of these life changes.

There was a lot that got stirred up for me and I wanted to share some of that and also relate and hopefully see how it tied in with Rewrite the Mother Code work.
