Yes, it's a very widespread position among Christian Zionists and there's, of course, huge pushback against this from Palestinian theologians and other liberation theology scholars.
It basically conflates the ancient people of Israel with the Israelis today and it's a blank check to forcing you basically to bless Israel if you want to have any kind of life.
And it's taken verbatim without any kind of space for maneuvering or dogmatism, no matter what Israel does.
So you align automatically with the Israeli regime and whatever it does, because there is this conflation of the modern state of Israel with the biblical Israelites.
And there's a certain amount of fear-mongering as well, that, you know, if you don't bless Israel, you'll be cursed.
This is a blank check to basically do whatever you want to do with Palestinians.
And if we're standing in the way of prophecy, then we must be, you know, as one preacher once said, we must be the allies of the devil.
That's openly what's being said of Palestinians, because we're seen as standing in the way of this project.
