Because if there's one thing this podcast has always been about, It's the reality that resilience is deeply personal.
But long before any of those roles were a reality for me, And throughout all of them, I've been a parent.
My boys are becoming young adults, one preparing to begin college and the other deep in his own journey off to college in about a year.
Like so many parents, I find myself balancing the pride and excitement with the bittersweet realization that childhood moves far more quickly than we ever expect.
I really do understand this phrase so much differently now than I did 20 years ago.
When our children are young, we spend so much energy managing schedules, solving problems, helping with homework, navigating friendships, attending activities, and simply trying to make it through the day sometimes.
But then one day, seemingly out of nowhere, you're standing on the edge of a brand new chapter.
