So what I think is maybe the most challenging aspect right now is there are so many interventions and types of interventions.

And the phase at which you use a certain intervention likely changes throughout the course of rehab.

So for instance, let's take arthrogenic muscle inhibition, right? So we have decent data, these cross-sectional data that shows that like, if I'm more asymmetric, this is work done by Dr.

If I'm more asymmetric at return to sport in quad, muscle function, then I have more of this quote unquote brain change at return to score.

And so something I like to emphasize is even early on, like arthrogenic muscle inhibition is probably the number one thing that we need to address.

And Adam Colliver has a paper in AGSM that looks at some acute changes within six weeks after ACL reconstruction.

But there is honestly limited data on how does pain, effusion, limb disuse, all of that impact this fMRI data.

But as far as interventions go, if we're talking end stage, we know that there's this visual and cognitive compensation.

Which Dustin has a couple of decent papers out that show even like a short or like small intervention period can change brain plasticity in these regions.

And so I think a lot of this is emerging right now and we're still learning about how do these interventions directly impact the brain regions that are implicated or what we think are maybe like negative adaptations after injury.
