Patrice WashingtonHostSo we started with the cost of misalignment, but I wanted to switch over to end the season with the cost of staying the same.
And we're gonna talk today about price versus cost, right? Because I've realized that most people aren't afraid of alignment.
The more you hear about the power and potency of what it looks like to literally examine your life through the lens of the six pillars and make a choice to meticulously align different parts of your life to support you in getting to the vision you say you have, the more it's like, duh, that's a no-brainer.
Of course, I want my fifth pillar to align with the future version of myself.
Of course, I want my relationships to line up with what I say I desire for my life.
What I sense as I talk to my clients in the Institute for Redefining Wealth, in my one-on-ones, in Mastery Momentum, is that people are afraid of the price.
They are afraid of the grief that will come from making an aligned choice, the discomfort, the inconvenience, the uncertainty.
And yes, I believe that making these choices are really temporary disruptions, but what happens when you feel like it's the end-all, be-all, it's the end of the world? What I have learned over these last several years, but really in these last 16 weeks since we've been doing this work together, is that while so many of us are busy calculating the price of change, we're often completely ignoring the cost of staying the same.
And I wanna submit to you today that the cost is sometimes far greater than the price.
I would actually argue at this point that most people don't even have the money problem they believe they have.
You have a misalignment problem." I'm gonna add in, 'cause I can, that I think you have a cost calculation problem because we are masters at calculating the price of change, but then complete amateurs, novice, at calculating the cost of staying the same.
So today, I thought we would help calculate this differently because I know for myself, making this distinction has impacted every major decision I've had this year.
And let me tell you, I have been making major decisions across my life, across all six pillars.
And I believe that when you truly understand it, it may change how you go about your path to alignment as well.
