Yeah, I really, I gave this like five or six listens.
Yeah, it's quite
short as well.
Yeah, yeah.
And I like, I had it on, just on repeat.
um so i whack it on in the car and you'll realize once we get to the end of this that like um i got a little bit confused about the the track because i'm like doing my final um like sit down write my notes thing and i got a little bit i got a little bit thrown out first impressions of it um this is this is what i was expecting with polaris
oh okay
yeah so when i said last time like i thought it was going to be like pretty standard metal core fair or hardcore or whatever this is what i thought polaris was going to be right so i actually felt like okay i i am i
I know what I'm in
for.
I'm figuring out what, you know, what the nuances and all the little differences in bands are throughout this whole world of heavy music.
I did struggle again to tune in with the heavy vocals.
In saying that, from the start it was really catchy.
Like I, it, I just
while I'm driving yeah it starts fast and it stays fast yeah
track one an entry it builds up really nicely I like that it's an intro to the album, but it's also an intro to Maybe In Another Life, the next track.
And I think that's really clever.
It lets Maybe In Another...
It's so hard to say.
It lets Maybe In Another Life... breathe on its own like as a single you don't want your single to be
relying on another part yeah to have like such a long build up
but when you put them together it works really nicely I really enjoyed that not much to say on it it's an intro it is what it is maybe in another life is the title track obviously and it's a really great start to the album Ironically, it has a really cool intro.
Like, the song's intro, separate from an entry, is a really good intro.
I felt like it has a really, like a sense of yearning for understanding.
Like it really sets the tone for like what they're going for musically and lyrically and like a lot of what they talk about throughout the rest of the album.
