I've had the pleasure of working alongside you and with you and as a colleague and as a friend.

And I know the people that have worked for you have always enjoyed working for you.

the case right i mean we know i sometimes find in this sector there's a lot of we know we battle a lot of lack mindset and then i find that lack mindset has often also created micromanagers in this space and you know with silly glitz i want to talk about leadership for a little bit before we jump back into events in terms of this so if someone's listening and they're like ah you know, because you're a VP.

So if I'm not a VP and I need to speak to my leadership team because I am being micromanaged or I want to create change, what could you offer as that teacher? Like, how could you coach me or that person who's, you know, coming up the ranks? What are some of the best approaches that you appreciate when people come to you as a leader? And what is some of that guidance that you would offer?

You know, I've always kind of approached conversations with, say, senior leadership or board as kind of a business case, really.

And like, you know, having your facts straight, having your numbers ready, you know, knowing kind of.

And our job is to create the, this, you know, that, that, um, that case for why something should be done.

Uh, 100% approved, but you know, I think when you, when you, if you have the details down and you've thought about kind of how the conversation should go, then, you know, that's what I try and instill on the team is kind of.

It's okay to present something that's far-fetched, but just be able to back yourself up.
