Can you lose weight and still be unhappy? Absolutely. In this episode, I share a powerful email from longtime coaching client, who reflects on a transformation that went far beyond the scale. Her…
[upbeat music] Welcome to the Real Life Weight Loss podcast, where we cut through the confusion and get down to the truth about what really works for real people when it comes to losing weight, having incredible health, and a body that you love.
We believe that losing weight is really about gaining life, doing things you never thought you could, having renewed confidence, and enjoying your body more than ever.
This is episode 400, four zero zero, and I'd like to start by saying a big thank you to each and every one of you for supporting the podcast.
If it were not for you listening on a consistent basis, telling other people about the podcast, sharing episodes with people, posting them online, or sending an episode to someone, if it wasn't for you subscribing and rating the podcast, then we would have never made it to 400.
So guys, this is-- it's not my podcast, it's our podcast, because without you, it doesn't exist.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being so amazing and supporting this podcast so that we can make it to 400 episodes.
Now, with all of that being said, you know me, if you've been listening for any amount of time, I like to dive right in.
I'm going to share with you four questions that I believe matter so much more than the scales, and how even though you might not realize it, there's a goal much bigger than losing weight.
It, it-- in today's episode, I'm kinda gonna tell you about the weight loss trap that nobody talks about or explains, and we're gonna dig into why losing weight will not necessarily make you happy, and what I believe certainly will make you happy.
Today's episode is all about gaining life, a phrase that you've probably heard me use many times, but you may still be kind of unclear about.
In the very last episode, I talked about the only three ways to go about losing weight and how one of the ways is really more focused on purely just weight loss, and that's okay.
Like, depending on where you are in your journey and what your specific goals are, one of those three specific strategies for losing weight will fit you best.
But one of the other strategies is more about, or just as much about gaining life as you lose weight.
And so I wanna dig into more of this gaining life phrase and concept to better unpack it and hopefully help you better understand.
And so while this episode was kind of inspired by the previous two episodes, it was also very much inspired by a recent email from a client.
