2 Samuel 22:8-20: God Hears our Cries

thank you for joining me this is reading through the bible with gateway church this week we're in an amazing chapter in second samuel okay last week's chapter is amazing in its own way but a little difficult to read we see david starting to lose his strength in his old age and needing help to fight wars we see him facing famine in the land and having to bring about justice that was long overdue against saul and his family and yet in the midst of those difficult leadership decisions god showed himself faithful But here in 2 Samuel 22 this week, we see David here reflecting on his life.

Remember, these last several chapters in 2 Samuel, they're sort of an epilogue on David and his life, not chronologically picking up, but looking back and seeing the difficult decisions that David had to make and the ways that God showed up in the midst of them.

So today, let's look in the Word and find comfort that God hears the cry of his people.
