They're seeing what is imminent, that the Democrats will take control of the House and the Senate.
When that happens, there'll be a lot of investigations, and there's a lot of people amongst the administration that don't have the immunity that Donald Trump claims to have.
So apparently there's some talk within the White House that Donald Trump will pardon a huge amount of underlings in the administration so they stay loyal and they keep their mouth shut.
Here's the interesting thing about that, though.
If any of them are called to testify, either in court or in Congress, if they accept a pardon, they don't have the Fifth Amendment protection.
They can't say, I plead the Fifth, because they've got nothing to risk.
And if they've got nothing to risk...
