If you've been following prostate cancer imaging, you've probably heard about PSMA PET, which has become the go-to agent for detecting recurrence of prostate cancer.

But there is another player in this space, flucitrabine.

And if you're not sure what the difference is or when to use which one, that's exactly what we're going to be talking about today.

The trial is EMPIRE 2, and it compared F18-labeled flucitrabine PET-CT versus gallium-68-PSMA-11 PET-CT for planning salvaged radiation in men with biochemical recurrence following prostatectomy.
