AI and Breast Cancer Prediction

[on-hold music] Today, we are speaking with Dr. Connie Lehman regarding her recent article entitled "Longitudinal Analysis of Changes in Deep Learning Image-Based Breast Cancer Risk Scores Over Time." Dr.

Connie Lehman, the paper's first author, is a professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, a breast imaging specialist, founder and co-director of the Breast Imaging Research Center at the Massachusetts General Brigham Health System, and founder and CEO of Clariti Inc., an AI-powered platform that predicts a woman's risk of developing breast cancer.

Collectively, her research leverages advanced tools of artificial intelligence to promote targeted screening strategies and more effective methods of risk reduction and cancer prevention at the individual level.

Dr. Lehman was named one of Forbes' 50 Over 50 Innovators for her leadership in science and technology, and she was named to Time magazine's 2026 TIME100 Health list of the world's most influential leaders in health.
