Why botherism. Para-friending. What language can help you navigate AI? We're live from Project Zero Classroom 2026 with a scintillating slice of this popular workshop with PZ principal investigators…
Beck TenchGuestCarrie JamesGuestJordi OaklandHostOne of our goals, especially vis-a-vis educators, is to actualize a future where educators can confidently coach young people to navigate and thrive in a world of changing technologies.

For those of you who know the pedagogy of listening from Reggio Emilia and Carlina Rinaldi, it's basically a way of listening to young people where we deeply respect and actually believe them when they tell us what life is like growing up with tech.

And every once in a while when we are listening, we'll hear something we call a mic drop-a-sit moment.

This is a moment where instead of like a mic drop where you drop the mic because there's nothing left to say, you actually hand someone the mic and say, say more.

It's a moment of resonance in the group, and we're like, that's very interesting.

We involve more youth, more educators, sometimes subject matter experts, and we start to understand what was so resonant about what was just said.
