The following weekend, it's been very, very busy, I have to say, and it feels like it's been some sort of continual levels of activity.

We were involved in our second charity fundraising disco at the West White Sports and Community Centre over here on the West White in Freshwater.

And we had a very successful disco on just past Saturday night, the 24th of October.

um we increased our bar take um we ultimately probably achieved a roundabout people drank differently the the drinking habits between april when it was quite a summery warm april evening compared to a wet windy and wild west white night see the alliteration there tim yes i did thank you uh we uh We took slightly less on the bar, but we'd made some price adjustments.

So we've raised just shy of a thousand pounds for the West White Sports and Community Centre again.

What was, if you had to pick the one tune that had them getting on down, what would it be?

But of course, I think I majored very much on the 1970s floor filling disco classics because they just get everybody dancing.

And, you know, there's plenty of, uh, eighties, nineties, noughties, um, uh, options as well.

Um, some of the kind of club tracks of the nineties and noughties, uh, like, uh, sandstorm deruda that went down an absolute howler mr brightside um, by the, the killers, which is actually one of my favorites as well.

Just, you know, get people up on the dance floor when they're slightly well lubricated, lots of opportunities, but things like the hustle, um, September boogie nights, blame it on the boogie.

I mean, if it was just disco, I probably wouldn't be, I think it wouldn't keep me occupied for the whole evening.
