Renee Von Runkle is a mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, employee, but also served 36 months in federal prison after a life shaped by unresolved trauma, anxiety, and stress.
Incarceration became a turning point in her life, forcing her to confront her past and develop resilience, all while meeting Jesus in jail.
She now uses her experience to help others advocate for systematic change and support rehabilitation before and after incarceration through her organization called Connecting to Cope.
Connecting to Cope helps with self-care, coping skills, and empowerment for individuals navigating personal struggles, trauma, or challenges of life after incarceration.
