Somewhere out there right now, there is a woman sitting in her car in a school parking lot.

Maybe she's 15 minutes early for pickup, and she's typing into ChatGBT, I think I need a therapist.

And I want to dive in today about the complexities of AI in your business and And some of the things I'm noticing happening in the We are living in kind of wild times and all you have to do is open up a Facebook group with therapists in it to just scroll maybe once, if that, to find conversations about the challenges that people are having in their private practice or building their businesses around the influence of AI, whether that shows up in drop of referrals or the conversation around AI notes or not, or AI scribe.


And I think it's because it's a very new topic to all of us and we're seeing the impact in it.

But also as therapists, I think we hold a deeper analysis of the situation where we're really holding on to the human relationship and And at the same time, dealing with the business consequences.

And I think it's a really difficult place to be that is probably very unique to us versus other businesses out there who maybe don't have that ethical constraint or don't feel that push and pull that comes with AI.


And also the difference I see in the clients that I'm coaching is that there is a shift between those practice owners that are being innovative in this time.

And then there's those practice owners who are really holding on tightly to to the way that it used to be.
