Moira WilliamsHostSo my background is...
I have been movement coach for women for the past 15, 16 years and a nutrition counsellor and as well as the founder of Gold Coast Women's Health Network platform.
This platform is so much more than just what it sounds like network platform right it sounds very technical but how I have created is with so much love and care and years of story what has given me the strength to bring this to life today we bring the women's health and wellness practitioners together under one roof And my vision is to close the gap between the traditional and modern medicine.
And the third one is to keep the platform educational by collaborating with the practitioners.
So what that does is... helps to feature our practitioners, what they do and how they do their job, as well as giving the professional information to our community because there are so many noise out there towards the health and wellness.
but giving them the information coming from the practitioners who are local and easy to access.
And that is what we

I love that because when we are looking for love and support or love and belonging in a community, it can be a process of feeling very alone, not knowing what you're wanting and not understanding or having a little bit of fear or anxiety about it as well as to meet someone in person and hear a bit about their story maybe or what they're offering.
but now it is growing into this beautiful community and we do the workshops and presentations.
And in that space, I always encourage people to build a genuine connection Not just hand over the card, swap the cards and walk away.
Or next day go and start emailing everybody.
No, that defeats the whole purpose of connecting.
Knowing the person beyond that title, like you said earlier.
And when that happens, even that person might not be the practitioner that you are looking to connect with.
But when that person connects with you, that person might say, oh, actually, I know Moira.
And you do so many things beyond that title or beyond what people see in front of their face.
Right.
So when that happens, that person will say to another person, actually, I know the person because I heard many times, I really want to connect with just a GP, or I really want to connect with just a naturopath.
But when I hear that, you're missing out on that ripple effect that you can create.
So that is what I'm trying to create and bring the power of genuine connection.
