This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Bianca (skin health expert) for a beautiful conversation about **skin, self-care, and the deeper messages our body is always sending us**. What I loved most…

Knowledge is power and people need to be educated that it's not about just applying cream to your face.

I did a podcast with Vanessa a few months ago, who's a beautiful beautician as well.

And we talked about the nurturing aspect of giving yourself that self care, that self love, just taking the time, but to know that you're treating something so much more than your skin.

As I know, when I've been to you and you've looked at my skin, I have a liver that doesn't methylate and that was showing on my face.

And being able to treat it both inside and from the skin level, it was amazing how quickly it all improved.

Or as you're getting older and you're coming out of the hormonal times and things like spots appear or rosacea and that you actually can treat them.

And the fact that you too want to educate young girls on what needs to happen to your skin, not just putting stuff on because it's fashionable.
Do you know, a lot of people don't realize your skin is a two-way organ.
You feed it externally and you feed it internally.
And usually that bi-directional connection happens as well when you have imbalances internally.
Whether that's hormones, diet or intolerances, that will show on the exterior of your skin.
And I like to say, it's almost like your skin communicating with the rest of the world.
I actually had a client that We've been struggling with her skin for a long time.
We calm it down, then it flares up.
We calm it, then it flares up.
And it's actually come to fruition that this client has had inflammation within her gut.
And it's driving inflammation in her entire body, her knees, her stomach, her throat, and her skin.
and now that she knows she's got that she's now treating herself internally and we're supporting that externally and she's a different person with her skin no other symptoms were coming up other than her skin and that was the indicator and i feel like that's why i just love the skin so much is because it's such an exciting organ and it allows us to understand what's happening inside And you're right, I am so passionate right now about helping teenagers, helping young girls, because there is this enormous trend or over information with social media, where they feel that skincare should be a trending thing it should be something that everybody needs and they need to apply it in layers and with devices and i have been helping so many teenage girls try recover their skin back after using all these fashionable products and i'm talking full-blown cystic acne that was caused from using the wrong products eczema dermatitis all these products caused from using and following these trends so i feel we're in a place right now where we need to be so aware of what we are putting on our bodies what we are putting in our mouths and in our minds because all of that is interconnected and if you're not aware of that and you just doing what someone said to do because it sounded good, it could actually cause some long-term damage on your skin and for your health as well.
It's an interesting time right now.
We really need to try help those and guide those teenagers the best we possibly can.
How do we do that? What would you say?

I was just going to say, I always refer back to the astrology where that's being heightened.
