Charles SchwartzHostWell, unfortunately a child born today is gonna spend about 30 years on a screen.
Um, you know, and I think that is really, uh, mind-boggling when you think about it.
I mean, the average American is spending seven to eight hours a day on a screen.
The, you know, kids are only getting four to seven minutes a day outdoors, um, you know, across, uh, the US.
And, you know, this has resulted in a whole bunch of health impacts like myopia, which used to be, you know, less than 25% of the population is nearing 50% of the population because people aren't staring out into the horizon.
They're not spending time outdoors adjusting their eyes to looking at something like the horizon.
But then you have really serious health impacts like, you know, certainly, um, you know, mental health right now, I think globally, I don't, I don't think you can talk about it just in the US, is, you know, really, really in a bad state.
And I, and I, I, I believe that that's been primarily driven by people on screens, um, social media, mobile, all of these things have had a serious impact to us as, uh, as humans.
