Jfelt & Boong discuss Fever vs Dream III, what to make of both teams in aggregate. Are the Aces and Valks as good as their record says? Who are the WNBA All-Star starters?
No entities detected.
And I feel like, given that it's been, well, over three weeks since we recorded, I feel like this would be good to sort of tackle a lot of teams, players throughout the league, and also sort of granularly look at um or not granularly rather just look at like some games too um that really caught our eye so i want to start with part three of this that just ended i think it's safe to say in my opinion that this game went kind of how i expected in the sense of what these teams strengths and like weaknesses are really get magnified.
Would you agree? Or did you see some of the things?
No, I definitely agree.
I thought after the second game that happened on the 18th, you know, I saw some things I was like, okay, but today, as soon as like the game started and I thought like, okay, I think there's a way I think the game is going to flow today.
And as soon as the game started, I was like, oh, yeah, I definitely think the gym are going to, like, separate themselves.
Because, like, it was crazy in the first half.
You had Heinz Allen.
You had Mo Billings.
You had Raven all hitting, like, their spot-ups.
Like, I think the Fever was something ridiculous, like 60 from three.
And they were tied at halftime.
Like, the score, essentially.
Like, I don't even know if it's actually tied.
And I saw they were tied in the turnover margin.
And I was like, oh, this is, like, not good for the Fever.
Because I'm like, if the Fever is shooting this well from the field – versus a team like the Dream, it's just not going to be sustainable for the entire game.
Absolutely.
And funny enough, the first couple games that we watched these two teams play, we knew Atlanta just like...
How they played last year and a lot this year, like, what their strengths are.
Like, they're a big margins team.
They want to get out and transition, too.
They want to, you know, get on the glass.
They want to limit turnovers.
You know, it's sort of varied in terms of success this year versus last year.
But, like, we know that's their identity at the end of the day.
