In entrepreneurship, there is a forbidden love.

People don't tell you about this, the forbidden love.

Here's the forbidden love.

It is falling in love too hard with your own initial idea, your own initial hypothesis of how this marketplace is gonna work out, of how this business should be built.

Even as we may encounter all sorts of things that could undercut our premise.

We are so in love with the idea that we just ignore it.

We say, that can't be correct.

Or maybe you don't even recognize the fact that the thing that you're seeing right in front of your face is just running counter to the thing that you love.
