hi hun how are you i'm good how are you i'm all good thank you ready for episode 19. i absolutely am so this week we are talking all about grounding so what it is to be grounded what grounding actually means and how we can implement it i mean
i wouldn't know because
i'm
probably one of the most ungrounded girlies there is constantly no um grounding so Grounding for me means not feeling chaotic feeling in control of my self and my decisions my thought process it means feeling connected to the earth that's how i associate it in my head so i'm a very earthly person anyway and when i'm not grounded i tend less to my garden i i'm i'm just chaos essentially so for me it feels like being anchored at one with nature and yeah, feet firmly on the ground.
That is a great way
of putting it.
What about you? Yeah, very similar to you.
I think Definitely the connection with earth is massively important.
I think the connection with myself and feeling like I'm in my body rather than in my head is a huge sign that I feel grounded.
And I definitely think it's operating from a place of calm rather than a place of utter chaos.
Who is she? And I think it's something that a lot of people struggle with.
I think that's the other thing to say because...
We say all the time, but life is really busy.
We have so many conflicting priorities.
We have so much information that we're constantly absorbing.
Any one of those things can knock you off balance.
Definitely.
Like, I get knocked off balance so easily.
Like, being an ADHD girl, as you know, your emotions can be up and down.
Like, if something you least expect could knock you off balance and suddenly you're not grounded anymore and you're spiraling, like...
Yeah.
And that's a very real problem.
And I think even if someone hasn't heard of the term grounding or doesn't make a conscious effort to ground, I feel like most people will relate to the feeling of either feeling sort of calm and at peace and... grounded for a better word saying having two feet on the ground yeah like that definitely i think everyone will relate to that versus feeling like you're just in a total stressed frantic chaotic kind of way yeah definitely so I think, I guess why is it important
